What we think:
Agriculture, housing, employment and military, everything that is management of an ancient city is under your control, in Zeus. you'll be balancing everything for your city to run smoothly. And it's a balancing act that gets more complex as your city grows with additional difficulty as legendary monster and heroes start appearing - only the gods may choose!
Zeus - Master of Olympus follows the same kind of city management as the Pharaoh and Caesar games, just with little twists related to living in ancient Greece and with improvements over the early games in the series.
The City management plays a lot like the above games; you'll be building up a city, balancing out your food, population, employment and the rest through different industries and the rest, but with little Grecian twists (olives for one).
You can increase your city with the help of various Gods (each of which requires a temple first), whether it's production, employment or military might, the Gods will help those who help themselves.
And you'll need their help through the different missions that you'll be set to complete. Based on mythological events, you'll need to reach certain goals in Zeus like working through the Trojan war. Interesting stuff for history buffs.
Much more focused on the building and management than military and war, Zeus is an excellent, challenging city builder, from the golden age of the genre.
